Robyn Taken to the Next Level by a 12 and 8 Year Old.

If you haven’t already checked these two sisters (ages 12 and 8), do so immediately here. Their cover of Robyn’s “Call Your Girlfriend” is not only original and unique (using empty butter containers) but ridiculously good. Guarantee you won’t be able to watch it just once.

Sophia and Rosie better watch out.

Sneakers that are to die for. Yes, I said sneakers.

If any of you know me you will know that I rarely ever, repeat ever, wear sneakers. Unless I have to (seen only at the closest BSC).

But lately designers such as Ruthie Davis, YSL and Marc Jacobs have made even me want to lace up. Sneakers have gone from the flat and athletic blah to revamped, sexified bombshells complete with spikes, studs, suede, bedazzled leather and more. To die for.

Wedge sneakers have recently been trending and for good reason. You get the perfect blend of a casual wedge.

Marc Jacobs and Giuseppe Zanotti do it so right. These more affordable spiked ones are at online retailer Nasty Gal.

My all time favorite shoe designer Ruthie Davis makes a pair of sneakers, seen in the above picture, just for me (or so I like to think). Her bejeweled, spiked, leather high tops are nothing less than perfect and haven’t even hit shelves yet (I stole the picture off her Twitter @RuthieDavis, follow!). YSL also makes a pretty amazing pair of fuchsia ones too that you can get here in Boston at The Tannery. And Giuseppe Zanotti has another perfect pearlized studded pair. I could go on and on and on…

Update the Classics (Don’t Hate Coco!).

Some things never go out of style. A classic blazer, clean cut white button down, red lips, sky high stilettos (clear, plastic platforms are not included), diamonds and on and on.

While Coco Chanel certainly could not have envisioned this gorgeous 3.1 Phillip Lim Motorcross Jacket that I’m currently obsessed with, it does work to replace the classic straight-cut blazer that Chanel made oh so chic. Check out some of the other modernized versions of closet staples featuring Burberry, Alexander Wang and DVF.
